Fabulous stay, good food and great snorkelling and diving

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful as were the waiters. Lovely beach and fabulous diving just off the hotel pier. Paradise Sea World Diving Centre linked to the hotel were first rate too.

Great with few observations here and there

Cleanliness, fancy rooms, facilities, variety and quality of food. Cool italian restuarant for special dates. Cool shows everyday by the animation team.

Response of reception is questionable. No enough trained lifeguards for the sea, it remained closed most of our stay.

Good price, friendly staff, but outdated hotel

I give a score of 8 for the very reasonable price of the all inclusive program. Another thing that can withstand the stricter criteria of a five-star hotel is the efforts of the staff and their friendliness. In other aspects, the hotel is lagging behind. The entire facility is outdated, this applies both to the main building, the dining room, the pools, and especially the rooms. The food was tasty but the selection was very limited compared to other resorts. Few fruits, a small selection of cheeses and salamis, the only certainty in the prepared meals was fish. The snorkeling pier was unnecessarily closed. Unfortunately, we would not return here unless there is a major renovation.

Unfortunately, the maximum effort of the employees cannot remove the fact that the hotel becomes just a cheap alternative to much better ones in the area.

Clean and comfortable room, helpful staff, food and drinks were good. Lunch box available. They provide beach and pool towels.

Insistent staff at the beach for booking activities. Small part of the beach is suitable for swimming (not their fault, it is the same everywhere in this area).

Helpful staff, clean, good value for money.

Too far from everything. There's nothing nearby. If you just want to spend all your time in the hotel it's fine. But if you want to explore other places as well, you have to get transport every time which is not cheap.

I have been coming to Egypt for several times a year. I stayed at Novotel (Marsa Alam) for the second time. We were warmly welcomed at the reception by Mr. Mohamed Hassan. A fantastic employee who provided us with wonderful service throughout our entire stay. It didn't just stop with this employee. "Every" employee, even the gardeners, luggage carriers, cleaning crew, lifeguards, entertainment,... are incredibly friendly and "extremely" helpful. Never seen before! An over the top amazing service. Every corner of the hotel is extremely clean and beautiful to stay in. The rooms are very large and beautifully decorated and maintained. Massive options with entertainment, wellness and other relaxation options,... The food is super fresh and very tasty. And all this in high season! I can fully recommend this hotel to everyone. Stop looking for other hotels. Thank you Novotel and all staff for the fantastic stay. Continue with this amazing vibe. To management: take care of all your employees, they deliver extremely fantastic work???? We see eacher back very soon, that's for sure! Btw: the "Sea World" diving centre linked to the hotel has the same wonderful values and I higly recommend it (there is a very beautiful house reef).

Memorable one, will cherish the memories for life...we had great fun as family.

The food was good. However, being a vegetarian family, we had very little choices. We have stayed in almost all 5* properties so comparisons were drawn with previous experiences mostly on food. Aside to the limited veg options in Buffet (Breakfast, Lunch & dinner), the property was excellent with exceptional service staff.

Relaxing Stay

We had a beachfront room with a wonderful view; the room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean; the sound proofing is also very good. The food variety and quality were OK; it could have been better though and the fish was not cooked well on two occasions. The beach is spacious and the sea experience is enjoyable for good swimmers who can snorkel or dive, as there is an extensive reef area to explore. However, when there is wind, water activities are not possible. Finally, although we are not pool people, we could see that the pools were quite good.

The beach is not suitable for someone who is not a good swimmer and not afraid of going into the deep. It is all reefs, with two tiny spots for people to dip in; only people who can swim and go into the deep can enjoy the sea that is accessible through a marina. The on-the-spot cooking station was not very good; the snacks offered to all-inclusive guests were quite limited. The Do No Disturb sign was absolutely useless as it kept falling! A weighted sign would be more useful.

A fair review

The animation team The room The free upgrade to a Seaview room The pools and the animation team were doing very well in the aqua gym activities The hotel is near al qusair city (about 16 km) if you want to eat some good seafood or if you want to buy anything like herbs

The food was good but the varieties were not very great also the desserts weren't very good Also the hotel was almost full and you have to stay sometime in a line to get the food that you need The location of the hotel is wonderful for the people who like snorkeling and diving while there is no sand beach for the kids, there is only a small lake but it is not very good
